"Blue and Shaded"

The blue within is stunning
standing in the doorway
quietly apart from the sun- calmed in shade
Taking it in but careful not to be taken in.

The balance is contained-unsure at times but thriving
The red earth moves and the tilt of it exchanges for the blue standing in the doorway.
Still,quiet and shaded
Melancholy lyric is born there.
No surprise-the sun will be hidden tomorrow.
